Email Stationery User Guide

Email stationery is a brilliantly easy (and eco friendly!) alternative or addition to printed stationery for your wedding.

Easy for your guests; they can quickly find and reference all the details of your big day, especially if you have a wedding website. Easy for you; you can send Save the Dates, Invitations and anything else to your guests at any time, as often as you like. It also makes collecting RSVPs easy, as your guests can respond directly from their email invitation.

Unlimited email stationery is available as part of our GM Plus £89 Membership, which also unlocks automated RSVPs, table planner and more.

We’ve got templates for Save the Dates, Invitations and Thank You notes.

There’s also a Guest Email service which is part of our GM Essentials £45 Membership, so you can send bespoke messages to your guests at any time.

How It Works

1. Design Your Email Stationery2. Create your Email Notification3. Choose Your Guests
When creating your stationery, you’ll see a template that matches your wedding website for you to customise. Add your message and include an image (if you want!), and your email stationery is ready for guests. Your stationery will open in your guests browsers to make sure the style looks perfect. This is what your guests will receive in their inbox, and will include a link to your stationery that opens up in their browser. Designed to be simple and still match your wedding website, you’ll have space to personalise the short message asking your guests to open their stationery. The best part about email stationery is that you can create smaller custom invitations and messages to send to your choice of guests. Once you’ve designed your stationery and email message, you can select which guests will receive it.

Email Stationery Design

We want your email stationery to look as good as the rest of your wedding.

To get started on personalising the look of your email stationery, you’ll need to design your wedding website. Choose from the dozens of designed website themes or create your own bespoke theme with your choice of colours and fonts. Your chosen design from your wedding website will then form the basis of your email stationery.

When editing your email stationery, you can toggle between two font styles pulled from your wedding website, and upload an image. You can change the theme of your email stationery, but this will change your website too.

Add all the text details you want to share in your stationery, an image if you’d like, and include a link to your wedding website too.

Your Email Notification & Selecting Guests

Once you’ve finished designing your email stationery, it’s time to put together the email notification that will land in your guest’s inbox.

For maximum deliverability we’ve kept this short and simple, with a look that reflects your wedding website. We recommend adding a very short message encouraging the recipient to click and open the full email stationery you’ve created.

Once you’ve added your message to the email notification, click on the ‘Add guests’ tab and select everyone you’d like to receive the stationery. You can send to as many guests as you like, and we’ll include their first name in the email notification so it feels personal.

Guest Emails

Our guest emails feature is helpful for sending updates and information to your guests in the run up to the big day. Use guest messenger to let them know of any changes, remind them to RSVP, or let them know about the weather forecast. You can send messages to as many (or as few!) guests as you want, and they’ll look like your other email stationery.

It’s part of our GM Essentials tool, which is £45 and includes a whole host of other great features. And if you’d like to unlock all email stationery with GM Plus for £89, you’ll get Guest Emails too.
